Data Anonymization

Data anonymization detects and removes personal information from free-text survey answers before the information is stored in Screeb.

It is a workspace-level setting and does not require integration code.

What it covers

• survey open-text answers
• AI copilot conversations when enabled in your workspace

It does not apply to visitor properties that your app intentionally sends with Screeb.setIdentity(...).

What gets redacted

Personal information is replaced with ****, including:

• email addresses
• phone numbers
• credit card numbers
• IP addresses
• names, addresses, and similar personal details when detected

How to enable it

Enable data anonymization from your workspace settings in the Screeb admin interface. Once enabled, it applies to new responses.
